The Big Sleep
If you've ever had the pleasure of traveling to the Far East or Southeast Asia, you might have noticed how people have turned napping into a true art form. Every time I board a plane headed to these destinations, I'm amazed at how, around me, Asians manage to fall asleep right after takeoff and then wake up, as fresh as daisies, just before landing. As an insomniac, it's utterly inexplicable to me. Here are some snapshots from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. If there were an Olympic event for 'acrobatic napping,' the Vietnamese would surely be on the podium.
